MX Nationals Planning Meeting Thursday 11 March 2010

 

The ACT MCC is hosting Round 2 of the Rockstar MX Nationals, at Fairbairn Park on Sunday 18 April 2010.

 

It is part of the 2010 Australian Senior Motocross Championships for Under 19, Pro Lite and Pro Open riders and many of our members, including Lawson Bopping, have entered.

 

Foxtel are televising the event with 2 x 1 hour shows on Fox Sports and Fuel TV.

 

The television coverage will give our Club, Fairbairn Park and the ACT wide exposure as a desirable place to ride and live.

 

The Club's MX Sub-Committee and Executive will meet at 7.30pm on Thursday 11 March 2010 to lock in plans to host this event.

 

We will table the minutes of a meeting between the Promoter, Kevin Williams from WEM (Williams Event Management) and representatives of our Club.

 

The minutes outline the roles and responsibilities of WEM and the ACT MCC to ensure the successful running of the event.

 

We will need many helping hands at this meeting to ensure we sufficient volunteers to manage the key tasks.
